SUPERIOR, Wis.-A new Duluth clinic will replace two existing clinics on the campus of 42-bed St. Mary's Hospital of Superior. The $13.2 million facility will be called Duluth Clinic-Superior. The clinic and hospital are part of the Duluth, Minn.-based St. Mary's/Duluth Clinic Health System. The new clinic also will house a pharmacy and optical shop.

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb.-The Nebraska City Medical Foundation is looking at a proposal to build a new hospital in the city. The proposal was submitted Feb. 1 by Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln, Neb., and Nebraska Methodist Health Systems in Omaha, Neb. If the proposal is approved, a $9 million hospital could be built downtown. Dan Kelly, president and chief executive officer of Nebraska City's St. Mary's Hospital, said the city doesn't need another medical facility. ``We feel it's in the best interest of the community to keep providing care for people,'' he said. ``We are only 45 minutes from Omaha and Lincoln. We can provide more care here.''
